Your First Visit to Our Office

We strive to make our office unique by providing beautiful and functional dentistry, outstanding customer service, spa like amenities, and cutting edge dental technology materials and equipment. We are committed to providing high end cosmetic and restorative dentistry in a plush and relaxing environment.

When you come to our office, you’ll meet our concierge at the reception area. She’ll offer you a beverage of your choice and then you are escorted to a private consultation room, where you meet your treatment coordinator. Your treatment coordinator is your personal guide to any question and concern you may have regarding your dental health and beauty and after that you’ll have your comprehensive exam with one of our dentists to review your treatment options.

Initial Examination

Your initial dental exam will take around one hour. The experienced staff at Bittner Family Dental Group will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to your health concerns. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. We will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth then Dr. Gerald Bittner, Jr., DDS will complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.

Pain Concerns

We work to ensure our patients feel comfortable, and that includes minimizing their pain as much as possible. If you are undergoing a dental procedure, Dr. Gerald Bittner, Jr., DDS will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and create a plan for pain management. Working together, we will treat your dental health problems in a way that minimizes pain and enables you to get back to your life faster.

Dental Insurance

We accept a variety of insurance providers and endeavor to accommodate our patients' request. Please call our office at 408-247-8080 to see if we are currently working with your insurance provider.

Our pricing structure is designed to ensure that patients are able to receive the high quality dental care they deserve. If your dental insurance will not cover all of your dental treatments, we will work with you to identify a payment solution. We are health care professionals first and will work with you to make sure you receive the treatment you need.

Financial Policy

Prior to starting any dental work, you will be provided with a treatment plan detailing your options and the associated costs. Treatment could be as simple as scheduling regular cleaning intervals or involve multiple visits to address a long standing chronic condition, every patients need is unique. If there are financial circumstances that require your treatments be broken up over time, we will provide you with those options as well as any associated risks. It is your decision and you are the one in control of what treatment is received and when.

For treatments that require multiple visits we ask that 50% of the patient portion payment to be made at time of scheduling and the balance at the first treatment appointment.

We recognize that dental work can be expensive and often times it is not an investment that has been planned or budgeted. We will work with you to find a financial arrangement that works, however, to preserve our relationship we require that all financial arrangements be made prior to the start of treatment to avoid any miscommunication or missed expectations.

Of course we accept all major credit cards and we can always help you apply for CareCredit which helps you pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses not covered by insurance. Please note, when payment is paid in full, at time of scheduling, prior to treatment and by cash or check a 5% discount will be applied.
